Seadrift Bay Fishing Reports

That delayed bait migrations into the bays and it was one of the toughest we've seen on area bait camps.

That's got lots of folks "feeling fishy" and we've been hitting the back lakes and shallow mud/grass bays with great folks from all over the State and Nation.

Capt. James Cunningham and Capt. Braden Proctor hitting them hard the last couple of days taking limits of Gadwall, Pintail, and a few Teal and Shoves.

Post cold front weather has dented the run of full limits with mild winds and slick off conditions.

Redheads are looking good and piling into the bays and back lakes on each passing cold front. We're looking at Geese and Sandhills making there way in to the Central Flyway Wintering grounds as well.

The result, two days of picture editing that I thought would never end! We've been blessed with "The Who's Who" of corporate and Fortune 500 companies entertaining employees and clients as well as plenty of friends and family trips as well enjoying the great outdoors here on the mid-coast.

We'll be making more and more of a switch to soft plastics and topwaters (Spring time in reverse) as we head toward consistently cooler water temperatures.

Our guides are reporting blistering Redfish and Black Drum action pushing deep in the back marsh over environs many times too shallow under normal conditions.
