Seadrift Bay Fishing Reports

The Guides are reporting back lakes mixing of Black Drum and Redfish associated with the spawn and they're right on time.

Look for a rubberized vinyl or canvas outer shell like the Neptune Jacket or Brigg44 from Grundens.com and things like it.

Gators - We're just about at max capacity and presently filling out a few remaining dates. If you're interested, now is the time to finalize those plans.

Redfish will frequent the shell pads also foraging from reef to reef where the menu looks good!

Typical seasonality this year with a cool Spring keeping patterns in line with what we consider "normal".

Mixed Redfish and Black Drum made for some seriously heavy fishg boxes and lots of smiles for guests from all over Texas and as far away as Oregon.

As duck season came to a close on January 30th we've been having some dips in temperatures to the low 30's and below freezing.

Lots of challenges but pretty reasonable rewards for folks burning the candle at both ends. Capt. Pat Lester, Capt. Chris Cady, Capt. Mike Foster, and others sticking some solid flatties of late both wading and by flounder boat.
