Seadrift Bay Fishing Reports

Turbidity once again complicated things late week as unsettled winds popped back off making the boat fishing scene less predictable.

we broke through that barrier utilizing the airboat for ease of access to the far back reaches of our environs.

We've been opening up things a bit offering new adventures to clients including some crazy big water exploits and it's been a lot of fun doing new things.

Tide movement or lack there of has been an issue that we've had to deal with.

Capt. Chris Cady's reports echoed what I said previously with best success on outside beaches, shorelines, and pocket coves on the bay side.

Today's trip with a large corporate outing with guests in the legal field produced half limits or better working mid-bay shell reefs and spoils.

A Little Word About Haynie Boats

The winds have been whipsawing around and gusty in all directions as fronts approach and then push through. We hit a little patch in between fronts of relative calm that presented challenges with a lack luster bite.
