Trout On The Rise

Castaway Lodge Seadrift Report
By Capt. Kris Kelley

We've been extremely busy here in October and weather has been a day to day challenge with volatile shifts between approaches. Some days we've guessed right and some days have been really tough when we guess wrong. This is pretty common during seasonal transitions. Trout are the biggest mover of late showing over shell reefs in increasing size and numbers. The ticket is to find a day when the winds are North or Easterly and light. Redfish have been really spotty and moving fast ahead of weather.

Like us on Facebook and we promise to "love you back"!
