We've got to get lucky every now and then and the front arrival couldn't have been timed more perfectly. Just add a little cooperation from the birds and everything will be good. The guests had a nice hunt yesterday afternoon taking full Redhead limits on a "Diver shoot".

From hot Redfish action to mixed Trout and Redfish working mud/grass, having multiple hot spots and "choices" is a good thing and we took full advantage. The Alexander's made it in on schedule with no problems from AZ for their visit dating back every year for over two decades. We welcomed some new and returning faces as well with eager youngsters and wives in for a first go round with duck hunting. All in all, I just had to step back and admire our Band of Brothers (our team of Guides) and the wonderful spirit of our visitors.

The rough weather over the weekend brought us the first decent cool down of the season and a bunch of ducks. First let's get to the fishing. Capt. Chris Cady had nailed down a solid topwater scouting on Friday and his words were "go with a topwater and don't take it off". Saturday's trips with bait found Chris and Capt. Kolten Braun hammering back lakes Redfish
