Flat Fish Two Step

Castaway Lodge Seadrift Report
By Capt. Kris Kelley

Sponsored by: Mercury Marine; Air Ranger Airboats; Haynie Bay Boats; Baysport Marine Victoria; Castaway Rods; JL Marine; Pure Fishing; Corrosion X; and, Bob's Machine Shop.

Heavier winds with a lot of North and East have penned the fish up over mud/grass lately and guests have been enjoying some hot action on Redfish. Trout have been sporadic and hanging over shell which has been a rough go.

Flounder Gigging

Capt. Chris Cady found the fish hitting the beach early on Saturday evening with long time guest Tom H. and family. Winds were strong but so was the action with full limits coming in.
