Tides dropped out a bit overnight which will rearrange a few things but not bad. We've been enjoying lots of family groups over Spring Break and they've been having a ball. Weather is making a turn for the better and that's setting the stage for a really enjoyable rest of the break.

ournament Reds have been in abundance, fish pushing right at the 28" mark, and that's made for lots of drag burning runs taking our equipment to the limits.

It was a fishing blowout extravaganza with the guides hitting it hard and heavy from South SAB to the surf. From wade fishing to boat fishing the surf, guests managed solid action on Trout to 25" and Redfish beyond the slot.

Strong wind shifts from the North send Redfish and Black Drum on an absolute feeding frenzy and that's where we'll intercept them and go deep into the numbers. Windward shorelines are a go to many times but in winds pushing over 20 knots, not so much. Water color changes become the target and sometimes finding them can be a challenge if everything is shredded.

Heavier winds with a lot of North and East have penned the fish up over mud/grass lately and guests have been enjoying some hot action on Redfish. Trout have been sporadic and hanging over shell which has been a rough go.

Wade fishing produced Trout to 24" on live bait with artificial approaches not generating much success. Live shrimp has been available.

September's whirlwind of outdoor activity continues at a frenzied pace with Dove, Alligator, early Teal, and great fishing all coincides. Teal action has slowed a bit with wing-shooters taking less than full limits the last couple of days. The South Zone dove season kicked off with a bang with lots of limits falling to the guns with mixed White-Wing; Euro; and Mourning dove.
