Duck hunting Mexico is a trip of a lifetime. Welcome to Raramuri Ranch owned and operated by Enrique Perez and family in Cuauhtemoc, Mexico (Chihuahua State). We have found the best logistics and the most awesome wing shooting for ducks, geese, and doves in Mexico. The ranch is located 90 miles from Chihuahua in the city of Cuauhtemoc. There are any number of non-stop flights to Chihuahua (CUU). Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a representative of the ranch and driven to the facility. That's where the fun begins!
The region is unique with mountainous surrounds backdropping agricultural valleys and abundant game. The area is prosperous, safe, friendly, and easy to move around in with better roads than in many American States. Located 4 hours southwest of El Paso, Texas, the area is at the hub of three great North American flyways and is among one of the most bountiful wintering grounds. Oats, milo, and corn fields reach as far as the eye can see. Nestled among the fields are vast freshwater lakes and ponds.
The Lodge is a massive stone and mortar facility that can accommodate 24 guests in spacious heated rooms with two double beds, private in room bath with hot and cold water, and satelitte TV. There is a lobby; great room/dining room with a fireplace; exercise room; steam sauna and jacuzzi for working out the bruised shoulders. The scenic mountain backdrop is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and watching the sunset. The greatroom contains the bar and dining area and is warmed by a massive fireplace. A state-of-the-art purification system insures an abundant supply of sparkling pure water. Wells serve water for the entire area, waterborn illnesses are unheard of so feel comfortable adding ice to any beverage or drinking the water.
The birds feed in the fields during at night and come charging hard at the water in the mornings. The action is is beyond comprehension for many that have never hunted in Mexico. Follow up your morning hunt with an afternoon of Dove hunting or released Pheasant and Chukar shooting. The Dove hunts are a spectackle all their own. During Waterfowl season November - March, Mourning Doves are abundant and make for a memorable end to the day. Harvests of 30 to 50 ducks per person is not uncommon on a morning hunt. Similar numbers can be expected on an afternoon of Dove hunting as well.
Duck, Goose, and Dove hunting is conveniently located within a short drive from 10 to 30 minutes from the lodge and easily reached by vehicle. There are NO remote areas requiring boat access or marsh buggies. Difficult or flooded locations are handled with four wheelers if needed.

Hunting with Coastal Waterfowl is truly an awesome experience. I first hunted with Coastal three years ago and I was simply amazed at the number of ducks we bagged. After quickly shooting our limits of redheads, we continued to have them land in our decoys. We literally had live decoys in the spread.
