A focal point at The Lodge are the large covered areas including a 1,500 square foot wraparound outdoor kitchen offering indoor/outdoor dining and "fireside conversation lounge".
Our guests enjoy well designed Quarters offering the privacy and seclusion of a Suite style room and "in room" bathrooms. The Quarters has a Great Room centrally located offering relaxed conversation, Satellite Plasma TV, wet bar, and Poker table. If mixing business with pleasure, it is the perfect backdrop for entertaining clients, meetings, and team building.

Texas syle dining is a specialty at The Lodge and you can't beat Wendi's home cooking. Take a deep breath and let her spoil you. Enjoy the smells that bring back the memories of those family gatherings and a simpler time when things moved slower.
Breakfast is typically served buffet style including an egg casserole for a hearty breakfast taco. Return from a day on the water to "soup and sandwiches" featuring Wendi's locally famous Chicken Noodle, Vegetable, or Chili (seasonal) and the cold cuts of your choosing. Dinner time will leave you limping away from the table with the best "down home cooking" around. Variety is the spice of life and our menu ranges from Omaha Rib-Eyes to fresh local Seafood in a combination of local and International Cuisines. Have you ever had homemade Oyster Stew, you'll find it here "in season".
WENDI'S SIGNATURE DISHES
Seadrift Seafood, start with the best and the freshest and the rest is history. When we say that the shrimp or fish "slept in the Gulf last night", we mean it! From local white and brown shrimp, Flounder, Black Drum, Oysters, and Blue Catfish, Wendi likes to serve it grilled and fried.
Omaha Rib-Eyes, the best come from Nebraska and you'll find the flavor of a "Choice" cut of meat cooked to perfection.
Pasta Oillo, originating from Italy and incorporating Pasta, Virgin Olive Oil, sauteed scallions, and a variety of meats including steak, chicken, and seafood.
Deepdish Casseroles, served with a variety of base ingredients from her knee bending Lasagna to her King Ranch Chicken, "it's all good"!
Oyster Stew, handed down to Wendi by local Seadrifter, Butch Mullins,this is a delight featuring fresh local Oysters.
Baked Delights, including Wendi's "signature" chocolate chip cookies and a variety of cream pies for those "special occassions". Forget about the diet, it won't happen here.
