We are Texas Hunter Safety Certified, United States Coast Guard licensed, trained in First-Aid and CPR, and have a spotless safety record. A good deal of our success comes from our attitude. We are personable, intelligent waterfowl and fishing guides, without an overbearing, all-knowing attitude. We typically hunt less than 20 hunters per day.
We have extensive private land holdings for duck and goose hunting. Our private land and farms have extensive plantings specifically for our duck and goose populations. Rye grass and Winter Wheat are two that we rely on heavily. We have numerous duck blinds within the Matagorda Island marsh and the Guadalupe Delta marsh. We also use other tactics for duck hunting impromptu locations. We use layout sleds to get to the ducks when they are not working our duck blind locations. This style of hunting works best during the late duck season. The layout sleds keep our customers ”high and dry”.
Our philosphy, we treat our clients like friends, and not some number on a blind assignment chart. We have numerous hunting locations in our duck-rich estuary. Even during extreme conditions, our hunting locations are safely accessible by boat. You may field your own dog with a group size not smaller than 3 hunters. Please give us notice in advance. Special-needs hunters are welcome. Please notify us in advance so that we may meet the needs of these hunters.
