Successful Second Split Opener

Second split of the duck season started out with a bang as our groups managed full limits to near limits on their hunts.  Capt. James, Capt. Jake and I managed limits by 8:15am on puddle ducks.  The conditions were not to our liking but the birds didn't seem to mind.  Afternoon hunts are managing limits of Redheads with a few Pintails to full limits with a mark set by Capt. James Saturday afternoon.  A cold front Sunday made things a bit more difficult with a big drop in water levels and uncooperative ducks skiddish by the harsh change in conditions.  Capt. Jake hit the high mark with David C. and guests taking 18 geese and 6 ducks.

We'll keep you informed as the season progresses.  If you find your schedule opening up for a hunt, give us a call.  We've got openings scattered throughout the schedule and may be able to accommodate.

Happy Holidays,

Capt. Kris Kelley
