Seadrifter's Pushing Forward

We're getting a look at fishing and getting a handle on the bays as we move forward since the storm. Of course we'd been off the water for a bit with some scouting when possible.  Spotty has been the word on some approaches while others are absolutely lethal.  Bands of saltwater are being pushed up in different places and those locales are just holding tremendous numbers of fish, great quality as well.  Some of these bands don't lend them well to certain techniques and wade fishing is presently one of the best approaches with lures or live bait.

Alligator Season

Thus far we're running 100% success ratio but size has been running on the smaller end of the scale.  Thus far, we're sitting at 11'6" for the largest of the season.  We're crawling up on the halfway mark and barring any jarring cool fronts we should continue strong.

Airboat Redfishing Trips

Take a break in the back marsh on one of these awesome adventures. It's a look at fishing the Texas Coast you just can't get any other way.  We've got 3 awesome guides and great Air Ranger Airboats.

Flounder Gigging Report

While fishing has just started entering the "normal" phase after the storm, we've yet to do any giggin trips.  Tonight we're going to give it a whirl with the Martin family.  October is the last month before the November closure and it marks the beginning of the run to the Gulf.

On The Horizon

Lots of awesome fishing and cooler weather ahead.  It's a good time to start finalizing November Cast & Blast trips.  Come see us!
